Vintage Inspired :: The Bird Cage Veil

I have one word for you "high-fashion" which best describes one of my favorite bridal fashion accessories - the bird cage veil. I absolutely love them. They are not only fierce and fashionable, but classic and timeless, as well. If you are looking for something other than the traditional and in some cases outdated veils, I suggest you check out Unveiled Bridal Designs, a company owned by Dorene Vandermeer, the Veil Artisan. I stumbled upon her company's website last week while searching for bird cage veils. She creates custom veils for brides that is reflective of their personal style. In her words:
I did not want brides to settle for what ALL the other brides are wearing.
I long to see them in something that matches their personality. Romantic, Retro,
edgy, vintage, whatever you can dream up I love to create it! I desire for my
patrons to all feel like they receive personal service. It is a privilege to
work with families preparing for special events in their lives. I enjoy looking
for luxurious materials, new designs, and the very best customer service a bride
or family could hope for. It is a lot of fun to let my family in on the fun.
I must say I am very impressed with Dorene's luxurious veils. You've MUST go check out her designs by clicking here.

I love this new trend of unique veils. If it's something that my bride is considering we can also extend the look and feel of it into their entire day - from the ceremony to the reception. It's important to keep the influence edited though - especially when it comes to bridal attire. You want to exude the atmosphere of that great vintage-y feel but not look costume-y. What a great trend!

Thanks for posting about this great vendor. Bird cage veils are all the rage right now and I personally L-O-V-E them. They make for beautiful bridal portraits, too!
